The E.C.O. Center prides itself on offering one of a kind educational programs that focus on ecology, wildlife, natural resources, and the like. All of our programs are themed around the value and importance of conservation and sustainable natural resource management. Whether it is for a school group, club, business outing, or anything in between, there is a program for your group.

HOMESCHOOL GROUPS

Educational programs for homeschool groups have the benefit of flexibility with program content and style. Every group has a different dynamic, and the E.C.O. Center enjoys building a program that meets the group's needs. 

  • Offered Monday-Friday, year-round
     

  • Exclusive to the scheduled group
    No other schools/groups will be present during your program
     

  • Cost: $4.00/student (+tax)
    No charge for adults
     

  • Minimum of 12 students
    Students are considered ages 4+
     

  • Start Time: 9:30am
     

  • Duration: 1.5 - 2.0 hours
     

  • Content can be topic-specific or general wildlife
     

  • Attached pavilion for lunch + playground in park

Homeschool Groups

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Clubs, organizations, companies, church groups, summer camps, etc. are all welcome at the E.C.O. Center for wildlife and natural resource education programs. Use the classroom space to conduct your regular meeting, but let us share about our natural resources with you first!

  • Content is the choice of the group and can cover general wildlife, be topic-specific, include Q&A, and anything in between.
     

  • Price will vary based on group size and length of program.
     

  • Groups will have use of the classroom during the E.C.O. Center's portion of the program plus any additional time needed for a meeting.
     

  • Programs are available year-round during our regular business hours. The E.C.O. Center accommodates requests for evening programs as we are able, but these are not guaranteed.

LITTLE CRITTERS

Little Critters is the E.C.O. Center's monthly preschool program designed for young minds to explore wildlife and the world around them. Each month's program is themed and includes a short lesson plus games and activities.

Typically held the first Thursday of the month, 1:30pm-2:00pm 

For kids ages 3-5

Parent/adult assistance required

Limited to 15 kids - must be pre-registered

Free to attend, but donations appreciated

Little Critters

ARCHERY

The E.C.O. Center is pleased to offer archery programs for both youth and adults. These sessions are designed to safely introduce and practice the basic skills of the sport. Our course is perfect for beginners interested in learning a new sport, business outings, skill building, and more.

Scheduled programs are held in
spring, summer, and fall.

Private archery events can be booked for
businesses, organizations, clubs, etc. as our
schedule and staff are available.

All programs are $10 + tax per participant,
with a max of 16 participants.

Youth archery is limited to kids ages 10+.
This is the age that the E.C.O. Center has found that most kids
are physically strong enough to pull back the bow.
